"They can stress on the Democrat controlled Congress the necessity to take the money away from President Bush so that he will have to start a US military withdrawal from Iraq and the wider Middle East."

I don't think Bush would do this. I think he'd starve the rest of the military to keep Iraq going, if only to say FU to the Dems. That would give him about $400 billion a year to play with.

With Bush, you have to ask yourself how a teenager would react, since that seems to be his level of emotional maturity.

I heard that the Surge has until August to 'work' although 'success' these days doesn't even have a definition. By that time Bush will be out of fresh troops.

We can keep pumping money into Iraq but, aside from my original plan of bribing everyone in the entire country, what are we going to spend it on anyway? IMO, Bush has already decided to keep a low profile, run out the clock and figure how best to put together a media campaign to blame the fiasco on everyone but himself and his cronies. I suspect that is a project that takes everyone's full time and attention.

I place odds on Bush blaming: Iran, Dems, the US Military and trying to make it stick. IMO, Bush is much better off if the Dems succeed in pulling out every penny from Iraq...how better to place blame?

IMO it's high time for impeachment. If this fiasco, the wiretapping, the firing of the AGs, the voter fraud, the Plame affair, etc. etc. isn't enough to impeachment someone when a BJ is, we are done as a decent country. IMO Bush might also be better off if the Dems succeed in impeaching him and Cheney...how better to place blame? I woulda, coulda won Iraq if it weren't for those anti-american, commie Dems!

:)

There's not much left now but the blame game.
