I was in the library again yesterday, and just out of curiosity, I checked again if there were any books by AYN RAND available for lending. Non, Zilch, in the whole of Scotland if the system was working correctly. She is yesterdays news, and rightly belongs there. Technology is useful, but incredibly destructive and wasteful at the same time. No doubt some will say the secret communist liberian party burned all the copies, but the truth is plainer and simpler. Ayn Rand is past her "sell by" date. There are human induced global challenges to the environment. It has nothing to do with the subject matter of intellectual gossip by the well heeled of later 20th century.
