Saddam in a box yada yada
yup
he was in a box. You may imagine he was getting out, but as of the invasion he was still in the box. No one is pretending everything is fine- except for you, pretending I have said it, or someone else has. Please go play pretend with someone else. I don't find it very compelling.

The stream of crap you make up is just never ending ". It is NOT evidence for pretending that everything was just fine and stable before the war, "

Have you thought of writing fiction- somewhere where fiction is actually the subject?

I can point to existing trends of the sanctions collapsine, in 2001 - 2003, and add in what we now know about Saddam's regime and the extent of UN complicity in the Oil for Food bribe scheme.
Ikky is not swayed by facts, Nadine.
