Rachel Carson made Pol Pot look like an amateur.

People just think you are a nut when you say that. I used to refer to Ralph Nader as "America's Leading Fascist," but people whould then look for a way to leave the room.

I prefer to call her book, "The lies of Rachel Carson." Good paper on her done under that title. l was gagging on "Earth Day" all day long.

The Lies of Rachel Carson
by Dr. J. Gordon Edwards

(Full text, without tables and illustrations, from the Summer 1992 21st Century)

A well-known entomologist documents some of the misstatements in Carson's Silent Spring, the 1962 book that poisoned public opinion against DDT and other pesticides.
