No, we won't shut up about the NRA. They're wrong, dishonest and crooked. They have pushed guns on us like heroin pushers do and a lot of people are dying as a result. Even now, the Virginia Attorney General, moderates and honest conservatives in both parties (nothing to do with liberals here) and millions of concerned citizens are upm in arms against the NRA to allow psychiatric background checks and waiting periods. This madness has to stop. The last thing we need in our society are more high-powered weapons, especially in the hands of psychotics. The real problem is that the NRA is so powerful and largely unopposed so when they want a certain liberal gun law (or lack of a law) they can usually bully it into existence. That needs to stop. It's corrupt, wrong and only represents the will of maybe 25% of the nation against the sensible majority. mAnd this isn't about rural areas, it's about our cities and populated suburbs. That's where most of the new killings are taking place. And in red state America too.
