RJA,
"Brush beating" is history, and was a common practice, with all sorts of local variations, till very recently. In fact, such vigilante methods are the rule still in most of the world. If you don't believe me, go there and you will see.

Such methods worked pretty well here, after all who can deny that my country became a great nation during that period.

But YOU LIE. I didn't "advocate" mob rule or anything else. I cited to George and example from LOCAL history that predated the example he posted by maybe thirty years.

Maybe your roots here are not very deep so you don't have any conception of what happened in the past and no appreciation of American history.
