I tend to motion sickness as well.

Years ago we were in Hawaii and a friend took us out on his sailboat. Way out. In big swells. About 3 hours out.

I made the mistake of watching the rise and fall of the water.

I suddenly became deathly ill.
3 hours out. Facing a like amount back.
Even with the motor, it was a loooong trip back to shore.

I almost kissed the ground upon return.

Due to that experience, I was a little concerned about taking a cruise. However, I've cruised to Alaska twice without a single problem. Took some dramamine.

So, if I can do it, so can you!

:-)
