UNTD might work for me. That decent dividend and their cash provide a bit of a margin of safety, and the company has been profitable in past few years.

The author's linking UNTD to Renaissance Technologies' purchases and the success of its founder, are red herrings, imo. That is, I'm not real swayed by Renaissance having a position in UNTD. From what I see, Renaissance as of last year held positions in 3260 different companies and started 666 new positions as of the previous quarterly reporting period. So I'm guessing they're buying UNTD on some quant metrics and likely have no real in-depth knowledge of UNTD business or management. And their purchase is not a real big bet for them.

I'll take a few shares now, although I'm not happy stock is near 12-mo. high rather than lows. 5.6% div. yield still attractive.
