E_I - PITG...the folks at StockInterview.com have some very specific comments on this and have been discouraging its use as a significant metric for some time. In the update to their book (just got mine today), they say:

"If you learn nothing more from this chapter, please learn this. The uranium mining sector has advanced beyond the 'mantra' of pounds-in-the-ground, which was prevalent in 2005 and 2006. One uranium expert told us, "If I wanted to announce my company had 400 million pounds of uranium, I could stake several square miles in parts of Wyoming, where there are granite formations." His point was this: He could throw up enormous numbers of pounds-in-the-ground, but the uranium project would be sub-economic."

As far as WUC.v is concerned I think they put a cap on the stock with the broad agreement they signed with CCJ. If CCJ doesn't buy their deposits then they can shop the Cameco cast offs elsewhere. If Western Uranium knocked on the door and offered to show you some maps and radon readings of a deposit that you knew CCJ had just rejected would you be interested? I'm glad I used the last pop to sell the last of my WUC.v shares. I'd entertain buying them back around c$2. I have a hard time seeing any possible 10-bagger blue sky potential in this stock. Much better bets available in Au, Ag, Pb & Zn. E.g., EXN.v or R.v.
