Every solution has risk - right now the country is questioning a room full of defenseless victims.

Arming teachers is trading one problem for a potential new one. There have to be simpler, less invasive preventive measures that can be deployed. Like panic buttons in every class, increased security on campus, etc...

Until a "normally normal" teacher takes out a classful of students.
