I'm not trying to make people feel better - I'm trying to measure violent crimes - and you want to create useless metrics by not properly classifying the data. Do you honestly think that properly classifying a crime will make the crime less violent? Less painful? Less destructive? You only want to measure in a way that reflects your feelings - what a loon. Hey, I've worked long and hard to have feelings. Some hardass gun nut isn't going to tell me when I can and can not have feelings. Save your cheap, arguing tactics for meetings at party headquarters.
