We will have to agree to disagree on this Hawk. I wish with all my heart that since bush has adopted your pov that we are successful. Yes, your outcome is preferable to mine. But i believe that you are wrong and what we are headed for is year after year of this war of attrition without any material improvement in the situation. Again, i hope i am wrong but I will stick with timeline as a pressure point on the iraq govt as our last best, albeit longshot, hope. If i am right we will have to live with the consequences of having made things worse and made the terrorists an even greater danger than they were before. Hawk, can you at least say as i just did that if you are wrong then my alternative is better than yours?? I dont believe you will say this now or ever. That makes you close-minded--not good.
