Lets just agree that if Bush's goal had been to NOT go to war with Iraq, the "evidence" presented to those Dems would have looked startlingly different. QED.

"We were lied to" is the mantra they have decided to adopt to avoid responsibility for their actions in voting for the war in 2002,

I think they voted to authorize GB to use force if all other means failed, and it was GB who decided to use it. Giving GB the power to go to war and voting for war are not exactly the same thing. I give my wife the power to decide which car to buy, and if she buys a lemon I can be upset with her.

It's sort of splitting hairs, but the final decision was made by the "decider".
