Hi Jim. My thanks to both you and Peter for responding to my question. This evening I posted a number of wireless stories, one relating to Chicago's emerging multiple wireless platforms (1 WiMAX, and 2 WiFi), with another related to London's open WiFi mesh overlay. And then there is the school bus story (see my next post), where, through the use of traditional cellular sites _and _ other means, "students will be able to download lessons from the internet via cell-phone towers." Anyway, even KVH's TracNet is getting in on that application. The only missing alternatives appear to be infrared FSO and citizens' band. When did you say the VHS-BetaMax bake-off was set to take place?
