The American Public has voted. The US Military serves the American Public and not the other way around.

Maybe someone should remember that.

The US public should support the troops but the troops should support the American Public as well and not arrogantly dismiss the opinions of the vast majority of Americans.

Iraq in turmoil

RAMADI, Iraq, April 23 (Reuters) - Three suicide car bombers killed 20 people and wounded 35 others in the Iraqi insurgent stronghold of Ramadi on Monday, police said.

A hospital source in Ramadi said 29 bodies had been received at the hospital following the blasts.

The first car bomb went off near a restaurant popular with police officers, killing 13 people and wounding 12, police said.

The two other car bombs exploded near Iraqi police checkpoints set up after the first bomb went off, police said.

Witnesses said earlier there was a heavy police presence in the city after police had received information that car bombs and suicide vests were present in the area.

Ramadi is the capital of volatile Anbar province, a bastion of the Sunni Arab insurgency. Militants from Sunni al Qaeda and local Sunni tribes are engaged in bitter power struggle in Anbar. news.google.com
