Consumer electronics retailer offers more than 21,000 products for online purchase, free shipping and in-store pickup

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RadioShack Corporation (NYSE: RSH - News) today announced its free standard ground shipping program for orders from radioshack.com to a customer's neighborhood RadioShack location is now available nationwide.

After a successful pilot launch in November of 2006, the consumer electronics retailer expanded the program to its almost 4,400 company-owned locations across the U.S. The move makes RadioShack the only national consumer electronics retailer with the ability to deliver all of its online products to a neighborhood store. The option allows customers to pick up their order at a convenient time rather than worrying about having high-end electronics and accessories delivered to their doorstep when no one is at home.

"During the pilot phase, the ship-to-store option was very popular with our customers," said Bob Kilinski, RadioShack's vice president - brand development and communications. "Customers loved the extended product assortment available from radioshack.com and the convenience of having their orders delivered to their neighborhood RadioShack store at no charge."

RadioShack.com offers an extensive online assortment of consumer electronic products. The site also helps consumers get the most out of technology with detailed product specifications, product comparison grids and even unbiased customer product ratings and reviews.

Examples of RadioShack's online "extended aisle" include the latest in satellite radio, weather alert radios, global positioning system (GPS) devices, audio/video systems, digital imaging devices, portable digital music players and accessories, wireless phones and plans from Sprint/Nextel and Cingular Wireless, wireless accessories such as Bluetooth headsets, computers and computer accessories, a complete line-up of battery offerings including rechargeable and specialty batteries, flat panel LCD TVs and HDTV accessories.
