That's right. We'd solve most of that by giving end of day prices and no allowing trades in stocks that are inter-day halted.

I might trade 3 times in a week like this with lots of earnings reports. So for a game, some limit seems reasonable.

I think once or twice per month is plenty. I don't want to turn it from an investment game into active trading game, and I don't want much more work. But even if it is once per month it seems better for the player to choose the date rather than the arbitrary last Friday of the month.
