The Market says this is muchado about nothing since the stock price has rebounded in the last several minutes from a low of 89.10 today.

Here's a far fetched theory: Todays big rally is partly from the good news that the SEC would not take further action against Apple. Since Apple was the bellwether of this whole options scandal involving over 100 companies (nearly 200 by one list I've seen), there's been a cloud hanging over these companies that's been depressing their stock. Now the market has had time to digest the Anderson/Apple story, this cloud has been lifted, and these stocks made good recoveries. Let's see if some business professor wants to crunch the numbers to show if there's any semblance of truth to the theory. Apple's good financial results propping up Apple stock price might be enough to help these companies outdo the rest of the field, but let's just attribute it to the relief from the options witchhunt :-)
