If your ever sea sick again, lay down flat. Most people don't because they think that will make them more sick. As long as your upright your inner ear is trying to balance and you will just get more sick

I have found that works well.

Especially if you lie next to the stanchions and lifelines.

That way, you can just lean over and barf over the side.
