my sons go to private school. the guy who paid for the field, dug outs, lights etc. his son sits on the bench.

The difference is those that play and those that watch, pay. Those that don't, don't pay.

The scream against this, by the Athletic teachers, etc, who will be out a job, is that the poor kids will not get the scholarships for college. Nonsense, of course. The private leagues are very happy to free ride any good Athlete. As are the private schools, who would be the big beneficiary's of this.
