Not necessarily - in the mid 80s when I lived in Muscat, Oman - the Sultan's palace was surrounded with British air force planes - with enuff runways for them to take off and land...

did not take too much space from the palace.

But as just another mere state it would get less support than we currently give it, Mikey. Think New Orleans.

Not to mention that it would have to follow US law, operate under the US constitution and US immigration policies.

It would be the end of the Jewish state! Just as Utah is no longer the polygamous Mormon patriarchy it once was.
