It's just that there AIN'T MANY to CHOOSE from anymore....

A.P. (the largest).

Then U.P.I. (a FRACTION of A.P.'s size, tiny staff now, emerged out of bankruptcy a mere shadow of itself).

And Reuters (still big in the UK, not so much here at all), specialized business services such as Bloomberg, etc.

And, as I've heard ALL of these Capitalist Enterprises called 'Socialist' here on this thread... which leaves me wondering if the word SOCIALIST has lost all meaning... or if some people here have an un-acknowledged 'secret craving' for the old Pravda (or perhaps Al-Jazera).

('Cause it seems like it was *always* the old Communists who took the greatest pleasure out of labeling things, intending to be as critical as possible, 'Socialist'. :-)
