u want the real answer, go live amongst some arab and non-arab muslims for a year, and dont base your thoughts on what you hear in the western media.

NOW interviewed a guy who, if I remember correctly, is at school in California. He is part Arab and part Kurd and has a first name that is Sunni and a last name that is Shiite. He figures that extremists ON BOTH SIDES are out to get him.

Try partitioning him and his family. Drawing and quartering people is illegal and rather ugly.

The Kurds have partitioned themselves and made Turkey nervous. The middle of the country has no oil. I'm sure the Sunnies will absolutely trust both the Bushies and the Shiites and Kurds to share the wealth equally.

Yep. That's going to work.

You really think iraqis in the middle of a civil war, would be that averse to a split up? Kurds are always ready to go for example and i dont think iran has ambitions to run anbar.

Isn't Anbar in the west, and a Sunni area? Lets hope the Iranians don't plan to run it!
