I hear you but if one can't believe one's own senses then who or what can one believe? You saw the one (or two) men with your own eyes? THAT'S using your own senses. And they're of questionable reliability anyway. Any magician can prove that. You didn't SEE the man (or men). You saw DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS of something. What? You need to know a lot more to know that. Science is often pseudo science Sometimes. Sometimes not. and astronomy is more fiction than fact. I think they prefer to call it "extrapolation". :-) Medicine (my former line of work) is dictated to by the drug companies I assume I don't keep seeing drug salesmen showing up at doc's offices for nothing. :-) and what is now called food contains little of value Then why are you alive at all? and a lot that we shouldn't eat. It's safe. My gov't told me so! :-) Oh, one thing I forgot -- there's no inflation. They told me that too! :-)
