But at what point will YOU condemn these acts and these people?

Where have YOU been? Do you read anyone else's posts or do you just assume that you know what is in them?

I have constantly condemned acts of violence regardless of who commits them. I don't care if the person is a Christian, Muslim, Jew or Ballet Dancer.

I do, however, seek to understand what causes people to kill complete strangers in this manner. The best explanation I have heard is that terrorism is a poor-man's military tactic. It is used to move the enemy's troops out of an area and it has been, over the past 25 years and not including Iraq, about 50% effective. It's arguable that 911 was successful in moving US troops out of Saudi Arabia.

If we don't understand these things but simply demonize them and hyperventilate over them then we can't do anything about them.

I don't like any of the major organized religions. It's way past time for the world to find more interesting NEW ones.
