Awesome, thanks for asking. My wife rented a condo that was inside the park which was real nice considering the nearest town is about 45 min away. The drive up there from San Diego was perfect for breaking in the 2007 Civic I just bought. Get this, I made it from SD to Yosemite on one 13 gallon tank of gas..... Yeehaw! For the first few days we were there it flurried a bit but for the most part the weather was great for hiking until the last day we were there. Thursday rolled around and we were going to leave the next morning but about 6pm it started snowing fairly hard so we packed up and left, (one of the best decisions I've ever made). By the time we made it home on Friday morning it was raining all over southern Ca. We made it home in 8 hours but if we hadn't left when we did it would have taken 12 or 13 hours to get home since most Kalifornians are incapable of driving in the rain....... Anyway, it was a very nice vacation, great hiking and wonderful silence!
