Volker wasn't smart enough to print faster than inflation!<g> ...then again, I think I'm the only one that believes printing causes inflation? Oil price manipulation helps some to? LOL

That's because it was Volcker Fed in the old era, now it's Ben Fed. It's a new era of higher inflation, higher asset prices, and dollar = zero. -g- In our new era gaps to the upside are never closed -g- Inflation stats was more honest in the old era too, and M3 was not eliminated. The Fed actually cared about that.
