Some people lease furniture in places they don't want to stay. It makes it easy because they just call the store and tell them to pick it up and they don't have to move it. Maybe the LA data indicates people don't want to live there any longer than they have to.

The truth is you no longer hear Volvo claim to be the "safest" car, they can only allude to their past history. VW and Audi have surpassed them in side rear and front impact tests.
