My parents do the same thing you do and rushed to get the last Le Sabre when the program cars became available. They have said they will just let this be their last car. Buick really hosed up on this one IMO. It's GM actually. Never forget when they decided the Oldsmobile wasn't your fathers Oldsmobile. Brilliant strategy, alienate your market and try for the young buyer that wouldn't buy an Olds if it was the last car made. It was no surprise to me when they decided to close the division.

Not sure what engine the LaCrosse uses.

I've never been much of a fan of Buick styling, though the LaCrosse looks sorta decent IMO.

The name is funny. Could have just as easily named it the "Eau Claire" or the "Madison."
