"Just because Washington has decided it's time to despair does not control events on the ground in a very complicated situation. "

What causes the American people to despair is that we've got a stubborn, bullheaded, idiot President who just won't let go of his pet war, and continues to kill our troops and break our army for nothing more than his pride.

The people want to leave, yesterday. Even the Dems are WAY behind the sentiment of the people.

Bush on Charlie Rose last night was slouching in his chair and looking completely disinterested. This was not the image of a serious President conducting a bloody war, this was the image of a frat boy hoping to get in a round of golf.

It was a disgraceful performance. The man is asleep at the wheel. Thankfully most of the world understands that the American People are not Bush and that his constant string of failures are his alone.
