Elmat,
That farm tractor, the International 684, is a very nice tractor. I have had a bunch of them, including a 504 and a 460. I have a little 444 now, about two sizes below the one in the picture. But I don't get the point of the picture. Am I just slow today or am I missing something?

ElM, that was true in the oil industry: <R&D budgets are only for modifying existing technologies> It used to drive me nuts how much money went on tinkering with things and just maintaining data bases with up to date information.

Not all the money is tinkering in cyberspace. And there are big bangs for bucks - such as Youtube, Skype, Google and hopefully Zenbu. Mq is plotting his Q money too. That's a very BIG bang for a LOT of bucks.

In fact, cyber-geek salaries are going up, not down. There was a big surplus after the biotelecosmictechdot.com bust, but they have long since all been absorbed and more are needed.

When our son did his geek education, the classes were huge. It takes a bit of time to train the next wave of them, so there is a shortage for a while.
