My next door neighbor is one of the dumbest car buyers I know. Actually he leases. He and his wife both drive a new car every three years. I asked him how many miles he had on a GMC Envoy he just turned in after 3 years. Answer? About 16,000. That car wasn't even broken in. His wife (Pontiac Grand AM) drives a bit more than he does but trades somewhere around 30k miles. Those cars would be terrific buys and I bet the dealer just can't wait to get his hands on them.

I totally agree.

We bought our last car from my mother in law. It's a great car, except the tranny went out. Fixed that, I hope.
