Driving any car into the ground is the only way to get maximum value for the money spent. I've had two of mine towed away, either not running or failed to pass emission tests. But, I'll tell you they were used up. You have to be careful when nearing the "into the ground" time, not to put new tires, battery or anything else that you can possibly put off, as that is money thrown away. The salvage yards love to get those newer parts.
