I have not seen it. I hadn't even heard of it. But it sounds interesting.

It kind of reminds me of that movie- Indian- the one about the woman given as a child bride, who became the bandit, and then
(if I remember right) went in to government. Phoolan Devi was her name.

I had to look up the title- Bandit Queen. Boy that was a good movie. Heartbreaking, as far as the treatment of the child, but still- good movie.

Wife saw it on DVD last night.. I did not catch it.. I guess it is a ** movie.. Not sure whether one could leave all the baggage under 'Hindi Culture' or whether it was just another abusive relationship.. Any case, based on a true story in England..
