Why the press thinks a singer brings anything to the table when talking about the environment or foreign policy is another mystery we should solve. Because it gives them someone famous who agrees with their opinion to make it look like the wildest assertion is fact. Having a famous talking head say it, makes it seem like it's true. That way one doesn't have to bother with verifying tedious facts or actually investigating, cause opinion is easier to move positions on. Don't like todays, add a different talking head.
