I meant only to point out that US Attorneys are not supposed to be bowing to political pressure in deciding who to prosecute, especially, as you yourself said, the evidence seems pretty flimsy and millions were spent pursuing the conviction. Wasn't meant to be a partisan statement.

He did a great job of getting a conviction with almost no evidence. Is that the job he should be doing? Was it his job to get convictions? Or was his job to bring justice? "
