I think Icahn is up to something like 3% of the shares. Read an article today on one advisory service (for institutions) siding with Icahn and one siding with MOT. It didn't work for Kirkorian with GM, so we shall see.

It can be bullish, but the way this stock is trading I think the recent rally and Icahn/buyback news are simply holding it up. Without the rally/news I think MOT would have now been trading in the 15-16 range...

PS - At which level I think it would be a reasonable 'bet buy' on an eventual recovery. I recall buying my Mom NOK some years ago when it went on a quick ride from 24 to as low as 11... I was fortunate to get it for her right near the bottom, of course in retrospect I sold it too soon as it made a quick recovery to around 17, but it was a good trade....
