Many, It looks like there is a lot of confusion about how a weapon becomes a danger to the populace.

A year, or so, in Florida, they made it legal to shoot a person that is threatening your property, as well as your family. That appears to have lowered the crime rate here. We also have a "3 strikes, you're out" policy. Supposedly, the third time a criminal is caught doing the same crime, he is in for life, with no parole. If it is really bad, we still have the death penalty.
