Don't let Bushies privatize anything else. Every one of their privatization or deregulation schemes has been a huge ripoff aimed at bilking consumers and taxpayers. And the private companies are not efficient either. Look at Halliburton and the company managing Walter Reed. Look at the private prison riot yesterday. They cut corners to increase profits and rip off the system. And deregulation just means removing rules so it's a huge license to steal and price-fix. If Bushies privatized SS, the Wall Street mavens would be all over it, taking a big piece of the pie for themselves. Despite the current high stock market, the market is still a casino. And it can crash at any time.
