Every article I found said 1.2B = $300/person, so they are not claiming 2-3 million people as you are. Israel also gets way more than the direct $2.5B from the USA. Further, Israel does not have to account to the USA for how they spend it. If they buy arms, that is their problem. Further Israel benefits significantly from joint weapons development with the US as well. And this does not mention a $500B war that will tab out easily at $1T plus of which Israel is the biggest benefactor (or at least they were supposed to be, the end result might not work out that way). So please count all the aid.
