Fine - I'll go with what you've already posted.

<<You think the Iraqi people are rich?????>>

No I don't and I think the Iranian people have a similar problem. You've just hit the fundamental issue that almost every middle eastern country is creating. They take in HUGE amounts of cash but hand it only to a select few. You think the US is corrupt in this way! These countries take the cake. They don't filter the wealth down to their countrymen, they don't build infrastructure to support their people - they just allow their culture to waste away while they live the high life. That kind of poverty breeds trouble and their hardlined religious leaders use it to make the US look like the bad guy. Unrest is created and stirred for the sole purpose of getting the spotlight off their Governmental and Religious leaders who keep all the cash and never invest in their own people! The US uses too God Damn much oil and that needs to stop. But it wont change the poverty in those countries and it wont make them less of a threat. If there is a "next incident" the result could be devastating for the US. A couple 2 or 3 dirty bombs in the center of our country could ruin our bread basket and create fallout over a substantial part of the midwest. I think the great lakes have something like 20% of the worlds fresh water supply. Canada wouldn't escape the impact just as they didn't escape acid rain. If those countries started investing in their own people and provided standards of living that you and I take for granted we wouldn't have these issues. Instead they breed hate and opt to spend money on nuclear ambitions. So when you speak of poverty in those nations just be aware that its self inflicted and its exactly what's destabilizing that region of the world.

Our hand is being forced by Iran and we can either wait and experience an event that leads us to war or we try to avert what would be a war that nobody can recover from. I'm not up for taking chances and waiting for another event to happen here. Anyone who is - is nuts!

So if it comes down to them or us - I'm going to be on the side of "us" every time
