I watched bits and pieces and my last comment to my partner was

"These charity things don't seem to work very well.......Africans have been starving for years. I wonder who's pocket this charity money will line this time?"

I was real curious during last nights show, how much Bono actually has given, financially to Africa. I don't mean awareness wise, I mean in $'s. But that's me, I guess I'd like to see from a guy probably worth a few 100 million dollars just how much of a bite he's taken from his wealth, when he asks Joe 6-pack, making less than 100K and struggling to make next month's mortgage, to contribute. Perhaps there should be a law when a celebrity goes on tv asking for help with his favorite pet program to disclose what they've done. Kinda' like Al Gore should disclose what he's done for his favorite religion, Global Warming, when he's asked us to cut back....oh, that's right....NOTHING.

Rant done.
