You were the one that brought up the supply demand argument, saying that a slight increase in supply would "drastically" reduce prices. Sorry for responding.

re: As for CAFE standards, I originally said, "I'd like to keep our economy strong and running at full blast." You responded by saying ANWR isn't going to do it. Well what do you think CAFE is going to do? Send our economy into a boom?

Lowering oil consumption will send our economy into, if not a a boom, a much stronger position. More investment dollars at home instead of the Middle East, more discretionary spending (or saving) dollars for families, a healthier economy with a lower trade deficit, and eventually reduced health care costs.
