Off the top of my head I think I've been reading that it's still only 4%. I'm basing my 40% on windows people I know who have or have stated they are going to switch. I have one friend in the Bay Area. His wife and he are both hair stylists. He bought a Mac partly because of me and mostly because he says: "When my customers talk about their Macs their eyes light up, that doesn't happen with the PC people" His wife relates the same and she is going to switch. My friend who's a Java Guru recently bought a mini. He's ALWAYS dissed Macs. My ex, as I've mentioned just switched.
