they all do that,, service stations, snack shops etc. many can call up into a central computer and change the station prices wireless remote.

i do not think they go five miles,, for price as another station of their own will be located in that area and that would be another circle of price competition. people usually do not drive miles out of their way for price unless it is really a steep discount. most will get gas to or from work so you check prices in your area on heavy traffic roads. Perhaps within city blocks or if rural maybe the exits off the highway in the local area.
