i shorted that pig too early in 2000. worst trade i ever made, bar none and as a result my only losing year ever. that one trade wiped out a fabulous year and then some.

otherwise, i would have made quite a nice sum on it<g>

i blinked of course.

This is all reminding me wayyyyyyyyy too much of 2000. That last few months was so stressful - I really don't relish the idea of going through it again.

Driving to the gym today I gave serious thought to covering every one of my shorts. Whenever that happens a turn isn't far away.

Did you notice the 3 month bill yield fell again today? I wonder if the Fed is gonna have a surprise cut next meeting. That would explain the stock market rally, but gold sure isn't sniffing it out.
