I'm with Stephen Hawking, who's a hell of a lot smarter than you. He recently said that the human race has no future unless it can expand into space. With folks like you being fairly common, I can really begin to appreciate why Hawking doesn't hold out much hope for the human race. Too many people could care less that we're destroying the only planet we can live on. Too many people are more interested in pocketing their oil profits, rather than becoming oil independent.

Plus, it would be damn rude to impose a shortie on some innocent, alien race.

I'm with Hawking too! Have been since before he said that was his position. But I wasn't the first..

There's a great prophetic story you should read:

"The most prescient β€” and chilling β€” of all the science fiction stories ever written, though, is β€œThe Marching Morons,” by Cyril M. Kornbluth, first published in 1951. It should be required reading in every school on Earth."
