Methodists who oppose Bush are real Christians. Unlike the religious right conmen who fleece their flocks and pocket the tax-free proceeds, the Methodists use the offerings to help the poor. I was recently in a Methodist church and they took an offering for mosquito netting for Africa. Every single dollar we gave went directly to netting for Africans to save them froim malaria. If that had been Patv Rovertson he would have kept 90% of it for himself.
