Bushies doubled energy prices starting with the aggressive Enron-led attack on the west coast starting the very day after Bush-cheney (two oilmen and close cronies of all big oil and power corps) were first nominated. The gouging only paused when Jeffords switched parties giving Dems subpeona powers. Then it resumed again. Bushie oil companies control the market from ground to pump. It's not a free market. There is no real competition. Here in California the Exxon and Chevron types are deliberately running refineries below capacity to create shortages to falsely justify much higher prices.

There is no doubt whatsoever that when Big Oil finally got two of its own in the White House that they decided to make their big move, and they have. Part of this move was the seizure of Iraq. That had nothing to do with 9-11 or WMD, it was about the oil and the power. Bush's finger-pointing at Iran may be the same thing. Bush seems to be trying to pick a fight. Also, Big Oil loves war in the Middle East because it jacks up prices.

If you have any doubt about Bushie zeal at gouging us just listen to the tapes of the Enron traders. Enron and Bush were very-very-very close. Same as Cheney and Halliburton, the biggest war profiteer. It's the party of death and corruption, for sure.
