unless i am misinterpreting poor sheryl...apparently one never really knows with her...

it seems to me that she and ms. david are doing some.. type of college campus tour where global warming figures prominently....( think of the paper wasted on all those bright colorful posters! horrors)...the high school show was filmed and according to her blog, will be shown to 7 million kids in the classroom setting

snip from her blog, at the tail end of the infamous TP admonition

***************
Yesterday, we played 2 shows...one at a high school in Springfield, Tennessee, and one in the evening on the Vanderbilt campus. The Springfield student body decorated the gym with bright, colorful posters of support for solving the problem of global warming and even the mayor made a very inspired speech ending with a presentation to Laurie and I with the keys to the city of Springfield. So sweet! What a great day with the high school show being filmed by Channel One. It will go out to 7 million kids in the classroom setting across the States this Friday. That's some serious outreach.

HWL, Euterpe! Good thing I'm leaving in a few minutes for the weekend...I'd be falling off my chair laughing about all the new things I've learned about SC's and others potty trips....WAY TOO FUNNY!

Yep, guess it's important -g-...right up there in figuring uses for know-nothing slick glossy mags I mentioned, and that the younger set are so fond of....

Most of them don't know what outhouses were/are, though....They might not "get" it....

Heck, they probably don't know why pioneer women wore long wide skirts on the trail either....There were no outhouses, and so the women could have a minute of privacy, the other women circled around, facing out, and held up their skirts for a 'curtain'......I think they used leaves when necessary.....inventive, weren't they? And aren't we all happy to know those fine details....<g>
